As expected, the Premier League has led the way with £2.1bn worth of signings, but the Saudi Pro League has made waves this window.

Clubs from Saudi Arabia have spent £728m overall, making it the second-highest spending league after the English top flight.

Serie A sit third having spent £682m, with the Bundesliga on £598m, Ligue 1 spending £594m and La Liga dispensing of a comparatively paltry £342m.
